Shauna’s career began with Castlebar Celtic where she stayed for one season before moving to her hometown club Galway WFC. Shauna remained at Galway for 8 and a half seasons, during which time she captained the club.

A move to the capital then followed as Shauna signed for Shelbourne. A successful period followed in her season and a half in Drumcondra with the club winning 2 league titles including the league and cup double in her final season before signing for Rovers.

Shauna also competed at the World Student Games in 2017 and 2019
