The club would like to offer clarity on issues arising from an article in last weekend’s Sunday Times and subsequent follow-up pieces on other news media.
The club would like to reiterate that the Board and the Chair first became aware of the detailed contents of agency agreements in August 2025.
In addition, we utterly refute supposed “club sources” quoted in some articles, who have no authority to speak on behalf of the club.
The club will be making no further comment at this time.
