Originally from Duleek in Co.Meath, Summer began playing football with her local team Duleek United. A move to Bohemians then came for Summer as she was part of their U16’s and U17’s WNL sides.

Summer then made the move across Dublin to sign for Peamount United as part of their U19 WNL squad. Summer has represented the Republic of Ireland at every level from U15.
