Stephen Bradley quotes in advance of tomorrow night’s game at Tallaght Stadium.

We played out a scoreless away draw on Friday to Drogheda and maintained our seven-point lead. A point wasn’t the worst outcome.

“We need to forget about anything else; it’s about us. Drogheda is always a hard place to go; it’s never anything different whether it’s the start of the year or the end. A point is a point and we move on.”

Despite again having to make several starting changes to the team as we were between European games, those who started made a good impression and were you pleased with Will Fitzgerald’s debut?

“I thought they were excellent but again, we know that now and have seen that in the last number of weeks. The players that come in are ready and there’s no doubt they’re ready and we seen that on Friday, they were excellent. On another night we score a couple of goals.

I thought Will was very good, he was disappointed he didn’t score a couple, he was disappointed in the dressing room afterwards. In terms of someone who had only trained with us for a day, I think we saw what he’ll bring to the team. That direct play, quality in the final third and as I keep saying, leadership. He was a leader for Sligo, and he’ll bring that to us.”

We face FK Egnatia from Albania in the 3rd qualifying round of the Europa League tomorrow. What can you tell us about them in terms of their style and identity?

“They play a very similar system to us. I think out of the three teams we’ve played so far in Europe, I think they’re the best team. They’re a very attacking team, have scored a lot of goals in their previous games (six in their first champions league qualifying round and five over the two legs against Celje in the second round). They’re a very dangerous team. I’ve spoken to Leon Pohls who’s playing over there, what Leon said is what we’ve seen. Egnatia are a very good team.”

How did everyone emerge from the Drogheda game and any injured players ready to return?

“Everyone is fine after Friday, the usual few knocks which is normal. We’re still without Dan Cleary, Danny Grant, Victor Ozhianvuna and John McGovern and also Connor Malley so tomorrow is still too early for them. We hope to get a couple back, if not for Dundalk on Friday, then we’ll see for next week.”
