Qst: Was everyone delighted with what was a very big win over our nearest rivals on Saturday?
“Everyone was feeling good and there was obviously a good atmosphere in the dressing room afterwards. It’s always nice to win games and to win Dublin derbies is extra special so everyone was in a good mood.”

Qst: You also said you adjusted your team and shape a little to counteract their pace and danger out wide, how well did you feel the players implemented that game plan?
“I thought the players were excellent. For every team we play we have to respect their strengths and try and exploit their weaknesses, and Saturday was no different against Bohemians. We defended really well in the key areas and then exploited where we felt they were weak.”

Qst: It’s Rovers’ first clean sweep over Bohs in 30 years, it’s obviously great for the club and the fans to be on this great run in the derby after things didn’t go our way for so long?
“It’s always nice to win a derby and we’ve come out on top in the last few but it’s important that we just keep maintaining our form and trusting what we do. Of course it’s always great to win Dublin derbies.”

Qst: Cork away on tomorrow. The last time the clubs met was in the Cup, this time it’s a side battling for points near the bottom, what are you expecting?
“Very similar to before we played them in Tallaght when we said they’re a dangerous team to play, with some dangerous players. I don’t see that changing. It’s going to be a difficult game but one that we’re ready for. We’re full of confidence and we’ll look to go down there and impose our game as quickly as possible and try and get three points.”

Qst: Any injuries or suspensions?
“There’s no new injuries and Sean Kavanagh is back training today.”
