Shamrock Rovers F.C. has renewed the arrangement facilitated by the Liverpool FC Foundation to partner on community activities again in 2026.

Collaborating with LFC Foundation has allowed us learn from a more developed market and experienced people delivering successful long-term community projects.

We are delighted that, over the last three Summers, to have worked alongside the LFC Foundation and their visits to Tallaght & Shamrock Rovers F.C.

As part of this, the LFC Foundation brought over coaches to deliver a 3-hour sessions which included football and mental health talks. These events took place at St Aidan’s Senior National School in Brookfield and at Tallaght Stadium.

It was a pleasure to have the LFC Foundation with us and to continue our great relationship with them. Alongside the visits the help from LFC Foundation help us at SRFC to continue and develop our work in the community here in Tallaght, such as

  • After-School football, fitness & well being sessions
  • Schools’ Blitz at SRFC Academy
  • School team (or class) training sessions at SRFC Academy.
  • Secondary Schools talks (respect, leadership, digital safety, mental health).
  • Secondary School Teams sessions
  • Friday evening SRFC Kicks with Connect 4 Project
  • SRFC TY class sessions on work in the community.
  • Senior team (men & women’s) half time games
  • Matchday Experience events at Tallaght Stadium for affiliate/partner
  • School trophy visits
  • Affiliate/Partner clubs coach the coaches sessions
  • Engage with SDCC for events.
  • Coordinate & Manage SRFC Camps at local, affiliate & partner clubs

As part of the LFC Foundation fundraising activities in Ireland, there is an upcoming Golf Event that may be of interested to Rovers fans to participate in.

LFC Foundation is delighted to announce its first Charity Golf Day and Dinner in Ireland, with Reds legends Jason McAteer, John Aldridge and Sander Westerveld set to take part. The event will take place on April 23, 2026 at the Roganstown Hotel & Country Club in Dublin with all proceeds supporting LFC Foundation’s work in Ireland.
