On Saturday, January 17th, a sold-out crowd filled the Maldron Hotel Tallaght for our annual George Byrne Memorial Quiz Night, proudly sponsored by Ocean Electrical. With 30 teams and 150 quizzers, there were plenty of correct answers, several head-scratching moments, no shortage of friendly competition, and lots of debate around whether a mosquito is in fact the world’s deadliest animal…

Competition was tight right up until the final minutes, but only one team came out on top!

1st Place – Jack Byrne with Peter Murphy, Shirley Murphy, John Murphy and Ruaidhrí McAuliffe

2nd Place – Ed McGinty with Edel Cleary, Nicole Cleary, Katelyn Cleary, and Paul Berkeley

3rd Place – Trevor Clarke with Mark Butler, Brendan Dawson, Giggsy Hand, Mark Turner (and special guest appearance by Faith Dawson)

4th Place – Aaron Greene with Willie Hopkins, Mick Kennedy, Paul Hayes, and Richard Hayes
