We are delighted to announce the signing of defender Therese Kinnevey

The 22 year old joins the Hoops from Galway United, becoming James O’Callaghan’s first signing ahead of the 2026 campaign

Bio:

Killannin native Therese has represented the Republic of Ireland at underage level and moves to Dublin having recently become Galway United’s all time appearance record holder.

Therese joined Galway WFC U17s in 2018 before stepping up to the senior side in 2020. She spent three years at the Club before joining Galway United in December 2022 after Galway WFC withdrew from the league.

Therese, who is comfortable on either side of defence, will be hoping to add to her trophy haul at Rovers having won back-to-back All-Island Cups during her time at Eamonn Deacy Park.
