One of the most influential and undoubtedly most sought after midfielders in the League of Ireland in modern times. Keith impressed from an early age at Cherry Orchard and it came as no surprise in Schoolboy circles when he made the move to Arsenal in 1998. After two years with the Gunners he moved to Aston Villa where he stayed for a further two years before coming home to begin the first of what would be three different spells at St. Patrick’s Athletic. In between his second and third spell at Richmond Park the Tallaght native spent two years with Drogheda United. He moved to Birmingham City in 2006 and was on the team that beat a much fancied Arsenal side in the 2011 English League Cup final at Wembley Stadium. Keith has an impressive international pedigree having played for the Republic of Ireland at Schoolboy, Under 20 and senior international level. Exciting young midfielder who joined Shamrock Rovers Under 19s from St. Kevin’s Boys during the summer of 2013. Compared by the then U19 manager Declan Hevey to being in the “Ronan Finn mould”, Cian indeed proved himself to be an influential figure in the middle of the park for the Under 19 team. Pat was swiftly appointed by the Board of Shamrock Rovers as club manager following the departure of Trevor Croly in early August, 2014. As a player and a manager Pat has enjoyed immense success both north and south of the Irish border. His first taste of the League of Ireland came in 1987 when Brian Kerr signed him for St. Patrick’s Athletic. That first season saw the Saints finish as narrow runners-up to Dundalk in the title race with midfielder Fenlon being one of the outstanding players of the season. Before joining St. Pat’s he had been on the books of Chelsea but there was to be no return to England for him though. Instead, he went on to enjoy continued success at Bohemians (3 seasons); Linfield (4 seasons); Shamrock Rovers (1 season) and Shelbourne (6 seasons). His haul as a player on this island netted him four league titles and four national cup successes. His managerial career has seen him take the reigns at Shelbourne (2002 – 2006); Derry City (2007); Republic of Ireland U23 (2007/08); Bohemians (2008-2011) and Hibernians in the Scottish League from 2011 to 2013. As a manager in the League of Ireland Fenlon won 5 league titles, one FAI Cup, one League Cup and one Setanta Cup. Professional Footballers Association Player of the Year for 1991/92 and 1999/00. Soccer Writers Personality of the Year 2004 and 2006. At Hibernians Fenlon guided the Hibees to the Scottish Cup final in 2012 and 2013 but the silverware avoided them on both occasions. Undoubtedly one of the most experienced managers around in the League of Ireland, Fenlon has found a natural home at Shamrock Rovers.
