From Douglas in Co.Cork, Amanda began her career with Wilton United with whom she played in the 2011 FAI Cup final, losing 3-1 to St Catherine’s from Dublin.

Amanda then signed for Cork City where she spent 7 years, winning the FAI Cup at Aviva Stadium with a 1-0 win over UCD Waves.

After leaving her hometown club, she moved to Galway WFC after returning from a year out of the game. Her time at Galway was truncated due to the COVID-19 pandemic, she then moved on to Shelbourne where she won a league and cup double during her time in Drumcondra.

Her solitary Ireland cap came in a World Cup Qualifier against Northern Ireland in 2019.
