Shamrock Rovers F.C. is delighted to announce the launch of its new Community Club Network (CCN), a free programme designed to build stronger relationships with grassroots football clubs and the communities they represent.
The new programme will sit within, and be funded by, the Shamrock Rovers Community Foundation, replacing the club’s previous Affiliate Programme.
Open to grassroots clubs across Dublin, Leinster and beyond, the CCN aims to create opportunities for players, coaches, volunteers and families while offering strategic and operational support to participating clubs.
“Grassroots clubs are at the heart of their communities, run by volunteers who give up countless hours every week to provide opportunities for kids to play football. I want us to recognise that work, support these clubs where we can and build genuine relationships that benefit everyone involved."
“I’m not interested in making big promises just to get clubs signed up. I want to build something that clubs actually want to be part of, where they feel valued, supported and listened to.”
“For me, it’s simple. Let’s do what we say we’re going to do and let our actions speak louder than words.”
Stephen Carrick, Shamrock Rovers Community Manager, speaking about the launch
