The Shamrock Rovers Golf Classic 2022 took place on September 6th at Palmerstown House Estate in Co. Kildare.
In near-perfect conditions, once the morning monsoon had subsided, 23 teams played over the fabulous Kildare course.
This year’s event was won by the team from Hyundai Ireland, Shamrock Rovers’ longest-running sponsor. Congratulations to the team of Stephen Gleeson, John Sheeran, Joe Hutton and Brendan Keary who won with a fantastic score of 56.2. Runners up were the team from Matheson - Roy Butler, Sean Hicks, Sean Og Brennan and Richard Kelly - with a score of 57. In third place on 57.8 was the team from LMC Systems- Les McCormack, Declan Murphy, Liam Whelan and Aidan Hayes.
Thanks to all the teams that took part and to the many sponsors who helped to make the 2022 event a great success. We look forward to seeing you all again next year.
