Shamrock Rovers is hiring a full-time Finance Manager based in Dublin. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role is central to the strategic and financial leadership of the club. We’re looking for someone commercially minded, technically strong, and ready to shape our financial future from day-to-day operations to long-term planning.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage core finance functions including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and monthly reporting.
- Prepare monthly management accounts and reports for the CEO, Board, and stakeholders.
- Deliver accurate year-end accounts and lead external audit processes.
- Support strategic decision-making through financial modelling, scenario analysis, and business case development.
- Identify and evaluate new commercial opportunities, projects, funding, and sponsorships.
- Ensure compliance with CRO, Revenue, FAI, Sport Ireland, and UEFA requirements, including licensing.
- Oversee payroll, accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and liaison with external partners.
- Maintain internal controls and lead financial reporting for grants and funding applications.
