Shamrock Rovers can confirm that a member of our backroom staff has tested positive for COVID-19 in recent days.
Consultations with Public Health and the FAI allowed us to fulfil Friday night’s fixture in Derry subject to all protocols.
No members of our first team squad and backroom staff who travelled to Derry have been deemed close contacts by Public Health and all involved in Friday night’s game have tested negative.
The staff member has reported no symptoms and we wish him well with his recovery.
