The club is delighted to announce the signing of striker, Alannah McEvoy, for our new WNL team for next season.
The former Peamount United player has played for Ireland at every age from U15 to U19.
Speaking about her arrival at Rovers, McEvoy said “I am delighted to sign for Shamrock Rovers, it’s exciting to be part of the plans that Rovers has for the Women’s game in Ireland. I am really looking forward to getting started.”
First team manager, Collie O’Neill said “I’m delighted to have Alannah on board, She is a fantastic young technical player. She has a very high work rate and will bring a lot of energy to the team”.
Head of women’s football at SRFC, Jason Carey is also excited with the signing and said “Alannah is a superb young player with tremendous ability. She has lots of experience at the top level and this will help us embed a great sense of teamwork in our new team”.
