Dean came to Rovers during the summer of 2017. He is a tricky player who is more than a handful for defenders to mark. Dean was the top goalscorer with the Under 17s in 2017. He moved up to the Under 19s in 2018 and again was the top goalscorer.

Dean had loan spells in 2019 with Athlone Town and Bray Wanderers, before moving to the first team squad for 2020.
