Trevor Clarke has today transferred from Shamrock Rovers F.C. to English League One side Rotherham United.

All at Shamrock Rovers wish Trevor all the very best of luck with his new club.

Trevor has been with the Hoops since joining in 2015 and made his first-team debut in the Leinster Senior Cup semi-final away to Bohemians.

Aged 21 years of age, Trevor played a total of 103 matches for Shamrock Rovers and scored 6 goals.

He represented the Republic of Ireland at Under 16, Under 17 and Under 19 level and earned his first call-up to the Under 21s in September of last year.

Trevor won the hearts of the Hoops’ supporters with his runs along the wing and his desire to take on opponents and leave them for dead. He has been voted as the SRFC Young Player of the Year in 2016 and 2017 and won the PFAI Young Player of the Year award in 2017.

Good luck Trevor – Once a Hoop, Always a Hoop!
