We have the thoughts of Stephen Bradley and a monster stats package on Rovers in Europe:

On last Friday’s 0-0 draw with Sligo:

“When you look back at how much we dominated the game, we should have won it and we didn’t so it is frustrating. Graham Cummins did really well on his debut. He’d only trained with us for maybe a couple of days before. He hit the crossbar and the keeper made another great save from him in the second half. There were other chances throughout the game that we should have scored, we missed too many.

We’d 32 shots, 14 corners and over 70-75% possession in the game which tells its own story. Sometimes that’s the way it goes, other times you get that slice of luck but for us as a team, for our improvement we need to make sure we turn that dominance into three points.”

On tomorrow’s game against SK Brann:

“We know they’re a good side and playing at a good level. They have a lot of strengths but we know their weaknesses as well and we’ll try and exploit them. Home or away we’ll give them respect but I feel that we can go and win the game over there.

We’re flew over on Tuesday to give us time to make sure everything is ready for Thursday. Everyone will travel, including Neil Farrugia and Aaron McEneff. Aaron is back training and will be available for selection.”
