Stephen Bradley gave this update in advance of Friday’s Dublin derby at Dalymount:

The 2-2 draw with Derry in our last match:

“We were frustrated that we didn’t win the game because we dominated it and deserved to win. We’d a lot of chances throughout the game and we didn’t take them. We played well and should have won the game quite comfortably but we didn’t.

We’ve been brilliant defensively all year so it’s very hard to criticise. We conceded two poor goals from our point of view on Saturday. That’s not us. I think we’ve conceded eight goals from open play all year which shows you how strong we’ve been at the back. We’re disappointed no matter where the goals come from, whether it’s crosses or headers it doesn’t matter. It was frustrating but we’ll move on from it.

Tomorrow’s derby:

“If we play like we did against Derry you win 99% of your games. We were very good but sometimes these things happen. Bohs is a big game and one that we’re looking forward to. Derbies are always different games but we’ll go there with a game plan to go and win the game. So tomorrow we just need to perform like we have been this season. We’ve sold out our allocation so it’ll be a good crowd. Our fans have been great all year.”

Squad update:

“Aaron McEneff and Sam Bone are still out and there’s one or two we need to look at today. It’s great to get Sean Kavanagh back. He played a half on Saturday. He adds so much quality to the group.”

Note that all away tickets have been sold out for some time, the game is live on eir Sport and kick off is at 8pm.
