Stephen Bradley gave us his thoughts on recent performances and a look ahead to the big game of the weekend, away to Cork City on Friday at 7.45pm.
Monday’s League Cup tie in Bray:
“We wanted to go through, obviously we didn’t but we took some positives from game, Leon [Pohls] was very good on his debut in goal and Thomas [Oluwa] also made his debut. We got minutes into the legs for players that were a bit behind.”
Friday’s game at Turner’s Cross:
“It’s a game that we are really looking forward to and it’s a game that we are ready for. We know it will be a really tough game against a team full of top players but I believe we are ready to go and get three more points on the board.”
“Roberto Lopes could have played on [in Bray] but he’s made the right decision, he felt a little sore and he came off early. There was nothing major on the night except Sam Bone, the rest were just knocks. We’ll have to have a look at Trevor Clarke in the morning but he should be fine. We need to look at Ethan Boyle and Dan Carr as well. Sam is definitely out, he’ll be four weeks (hamstring).”
