Hoops team news for the Dublin Derby v Bohs tomorrow from Stephen Bradley:
“It was a good win [over St Pat’s]. I thought we played well and deserved it. The goals pleased me the most, we’d been playing well in our games but not finishing so it was good to get the goals at the end of our moves. They were all good goals. Lee Grace should probably score more goals from set pieces, he’s good in the air. It was good for him and Sam Bone to open their account. Sam moved his feet really well and it was a good finish on his left foot.
The three lads in midfield gave us the platform to play and they were very good. We’re happy with the clean sheets too. Our goals record for and against has been good this year. We just need to keep doing what we’ve been doing the last few weeks. We need to bring that again on Friday. If we do that I think we’ll be fine. The second half against Waterford and up in Sligo was similar, we just didn’t get the goals. On Tuesday we got them so we just need to bring that level of performance and hopefully the result will look after itself.
We know it’s going to be a tough game against Bohs, they’ve obviously turned us over twice this year. We’ll respect them and it’s going to be a tough challenge but one that we’re really looking forward to. The derbies are always strange in that you’re not quite sure what way they’re going to pan out but whatever way it is, whether it’s a footballing game or a typical derby game, we’ve got to make sure that we’re ready to go and meet it.
Brandon Miele is struggling, he tweaked his hamstring against Pat’s so he’s definitely out. Joel Coustrain and all the lads that came on did well and gave us exactly what we needed at that time in the game. Hopefully we’ll have Kevin Horgan and Sean Boyd back for next week.”
