Countdown to Shamrock Rovers v Bohemians

Shamrock Rovers v Bohemians is a 7.30pm kick off on Friday at Tallaght Stadium, home fans tickets available here.

A big crowd is expected tonight as Shamrock Rovers and Bohemians will do battle in the first Dublin Derby of the season which kicks-off at Tallaght Stadium at 7:30pm. Of the last three league games played between the two teams season, Rovers won twice.

The Hoops recorded a humiliating 4–0 victory at Dalymount Park in last seasons opening derby, while Rovers defeated Bohemians 3–1 in Tallaght in the second game.

Bohs saved some face towards the end of the season as they won the last derby 1–0 at Dalymount Park last October.

Rovers enjoyed the better 2016 season, finishing 14 points ahead of their rivals.

This season, both sides got off to losing starts, Shamrock Rovers fell to a 2–1 defeat away to champions Dundalk, while Bohemians were thrashed 4–1 at home to Derry City.

Both teams will be looking to get off the mark for the season and you can expect to see a fiery encounter in Tallaght tonight.
