“We started the game well, deserved to go ahead when we did, created plenty of chances and then we managed to get the second goal. I felt we’d a good night.

“We were by no means at our best, but we saw the game out and it was important that we did that with the game against Cork City coming up on Tuesday night.”

Tuesday’s game against Cork City

“It’ll be a tough game. The three games between us this season have all been drawn, and there’s been very little between the teams. We’d expect it be a very competitive game. They’re the only team we haven’t beaten yet in the league so it would be nice to get the win against them this time around. That’s certainly the objective as far as we’re concerned.”
