   Stephen Bradley...
   scored from the spot

A strength sapping game on a heavy pitch ended in a draw as both sides took credit for performing in the swirling rain and freezing conditions.

The visitors were quick out of the traps and caused problems with Mannus having to punch away an early free-kick. Bradley did well to connect with Flynn's ball and take it around the 'keeper but the ball ran out of play.

On 10 mins Baker slipped a ball to Barrett and he went down under the defenders challenge and the Ref. pointed to the spot. Bradley stepped up to send 'keeper Kervi the wrong way and open the scoring.

Baker's cross on 20 mins saw a Celtic defender head narrowly past his own post but at the other end the visiting Hoops were dangerous at free-kicks and Mannus again punched away an inswinging cross.

A good move by the Hoops on 23 mins saw the Celtic 'keeper take a fine cross from Baker. Aiden Price was working hard at the back and captain Dan Murray had to clear a dangerous cross from the lively Caddis.

The quality of the visitors crossing was evident again when Towell saw his cross evade Mannus but Flynn was on hand to clear. Mannus then had to dive low to his right to save a shot from Vallers.

The second-half began slowly but Callis again tested Mannus this time connecting with a cross from the right. There was plenty of endeavour but not much goalmouth action however the visitors equalised on 70 minutes when a good move saw Callis sweep the ball past Mannus from just inside the area.

Celtic sub Tnardzik went close with a free-kick for Celtic on 73 mins before McGowan fired over the bar from close range when Mannus could only palm away a Callis cross.

The home side responded on 78 mins and a good move saw Cahill fire in a decent cross but there was no-one on hand to take advantage. Bradley then almost put the hard-working Barrett in on goal.

Barrett in turn setup Chambers inside the area when he knocked down Sullivans ball but the ex-Drogheda man couldn't connect properly with the ball and the chance was lost.

With seven minutes remaining Celtic sub Tnardzik again went close this time hitting the crossbar with a free-kick.
