Rovers travel to Cork on Friday looking for 3 more league points. Cork City v Shamrock Rovers Airtricity League, Premier Division, Turner's Cross, 31.08.12, kick-off: 7.45pm Rovers travel south this weekend to take on Cork City in the Airtricity League, Premier Division at Turner's Cross. It is the second game between the two sides in a week, with the Hoops coming out the winners by two goals to nil in last Friday's FAI Ford Cup game.
Commenting on the game, Hoops boss, Stephen Kenny said: "We have three away wins in a row now, and we want to keep that going. This is our second time to face Cork in a week and we will be looking for a similar result tomorrow. "You have to fight for everything you get at Turner's Cross, and I've no doubt that'll be the same tomorrow. But we will travel to the game by confidence." Share this article! |
Graham Gartland (back) and Stephen O'Donnell (hamstring) are both out of the Hoops squad through injury. While Chris Turner left the club yesterday.
