Team news in advance of Friday's FAI Ford Cup match v Cork City.

Shamrock Rovers v Cork City 

FAI Ford Cup, Third Round / Tallaght Stadium / 24.08.12 / Kick-off: 7.05pm

Attention turns to the FAI Ford Cup this weekend as Rovers host Cork City in arguably the tie of the Third Round.

The Hoops will take on the Leesiders at Tallaght Stadium in the game which has an earlier than usual kick-off time of 7.05pm. 

Rovers fans are encouraged to arrive early for the game as queues are expected due to season tickets not being valid and the early start time.

Graham Gartland (back) and Stephen O'Donnell (hamstring) are both out of the Hoops squad through injury. Ken Oman is suspended. Aaron Greene has returned to full training and is back in contention for the team.

Commenting on the game, Hoops boss, Stephen Kenny said: "We have done well recently, we've being keeping cleaning sheets and have scored good goals, and we need to keep that going.

"We are keen to continue our unbeaten run and the fact that there is a quarter final place in the FAI Cup is another great incentive to win this game. This has all the makings of a great game; two big clubs in the last 16 of the cup, both keen to get through to the next round."
