Shamrock Rovers v Limerick
EA Sports Cup, Semi-Final / Tallaght Stadium / 06.08.12 / Kick-off: 7pm
Shamrock Rovers host Limerick in the semi-final of the EA Sports Cup at Tallaght Stadium this evening. Tickets for the game, priced only €10 for adults and €5 for children, students and seniors, will be on sale at Tallaght Stadium throughout the day and right up to kick-off.
Pat Sullivan (ankle ligaments) and Chris Turner (thigh) are both out of the game after picking up injuries in Friday night's game against UCD, while Daryl Kavanagh also picked up a knock and may be a doubt. Craig Sives is out of the game through suspension. Aaron Greene (knee) remains out of the Rovers squad and Graham Gartland is also out with a back injury.
Commenting on the game, Hoops boss, Stephen Kenny said: “We had a good win against UCD on Friday night, and we will be looking to build on that tomorrow night. And of course we are very keen to secure the place in the final. But Limerick will also want to get to the final.
"It'll be a tough game, but we need to keep our defence tight, as it has been lately, and put in a good performance on the night. As well as securing as place in the final, that would give us good momentum going into next week's big league game."
