Where do you live? I've just "moved out" of ashbourne and bought a house in Tallaght. It's literally 5 minutes walk to the stadium. It was cunningly planned....and I'm very happy about it.
How long have you been following rovers? My First game was at Milltown in 1986. I went on and off for a while after that when I could scrape the bus fares from meath together, and have been a regular since 1991. How did you start following rovers? Bribed my da to bring me to see Rovers play Manchester United at Milltown. I was mesmerised by the pitch, the home team and the fans.
Who do you go to the games with? If I'm not on the motorbike, I'll head over with the Connolly clan or any of the Tallaght Hoops.
How long are you a member? Since the 400 Club was born in 2002.
Do you helpout in any way at Rovers? I help out in the merchandise shop at home games. It's a long day, and you might miss a little of the game, but its important to step forward if you have the time to make the matchday responsibilities easier for the staff and the matchday experience better for the fans. The banter with the shop staff and fans alike is priceless. Great way to get to know fans better.
What does being a Rovers member mean to you? It gives a massive sense of pride, belonging and responsibility. I've never been involved with such a passionate bunch of people before in my life. It rubs off on you big time.
What is your favourite Rovers memory? Seeing Rovers win the League in 1994 and the First Division on the road last season were experiences and a half, but for me, nothing can top the memories from the trip to Poland and the win against Odra Wodzislaw in 2003. Mental!
Tallaght? A lot of groundwork has been done over the past few years by a lot of dedicated people, but the real work starts as soon as we're up and running in the stadium. It cannot be taken for granted. If we work hard, we'll be massive.
