We had a great Junior Hoops Meet the Players Day last Saturday morning.  

A large crowd gathered at Tallaght Stadium for the annual event.They came along early and seemed quite excited at the prospect of gaining entry to the Glenmalure Suite. They gathered in small groups of three and four and made their way up the stairs chatting merrily and giggling. The excitement on their faces was clear to be seen; giddiness was abound. It was great to see the young ones being so excited but that’s just the players we are describing here!

In fairness, it has to be said that Michael O’Neill’s first team squad turned out in strength to meet the members of the Junior Hoops. 

The Junior Hoops each received their free exclusive scarves and as well as the sheets that were handed out to them they also were also given exclusive Rovers and Hooperman stickers. It was Hooperman’s first birthday and a huge cake, specially ordered to mark the occasion, was brought in and cut.
