SRFC Charity Partners

Over the years many good causes and charities have benefited from an involvement with Shamrock Rovers FC, raising thousands of euros.

This year, for the first time the Club have decided to identify two official charities - one National and one Local.

Throughout this period, the Club will work closely to develop strong relationships, help to implement activities and promote these important organisations and initiatives where possible.

For 2010, we have chosen Teen Line as our National charity and The National Children’s Hospital Tallaght as our Local area charity.

As a professional sports organisation, we are regularly contacted by charities and individuals asking for support, such as bucket collections, events or donations. Due to the large number of requests, the Club is not always able to assist every charity appeal. The official status approach allows the Club to invest more time with the chosen charities to help make the association a success.

All organisations are welcome to apply for a future Shamrock Rovers Official Charity Partner status - it will be reviewed at the end of the year. Simply contact Rita Fitzimons at the Shamrock Rovers office on 01-4605948 for any further information.
