Shamrock Rovers Business Club

Shamrock Rovers Football Club has formed a business referral group which includes a mix of business professionals and tradespersons who come together to share business ideas, know-how and professional introductions.

The official link between Shamrock Rovers Football Club and Shamrock Rovers Business Club provides a unique variation on established business networks. The establishment of the Business Club is an extension and natural progression of the Football Club’s community program and furthers the Football Club’s civic role in South Dublin.

The aim of the Shamrock Rovers Business Club is to become one of the premier business forums in Dublin. Some of the principle objects of the Business Club are to add value to the Football Club, the Football Club’s existing sponsors and the Business Club’s own member businesses and companies.

The Shamrock Rovers Business Club holds its meetings in The Maldron Hotel, Tallaght in the evenings mid-week. It is a condition of membership that Business Club members attend a minimum number of meetings each year. Business Club members are also expected to attend matches after the Friday meetings and a season ticket is included in the cost of membership. This social aspect is another distinct difference to other business groups and adds to the enjoyment of membership.

The Shamrock Rovers Business Club is run as a business referral group and therefore only admits one single professional or business per category into its membership. Membership is granted at the sole discretion of the Business Club’s management committee. Business Club members are expected to proactively engage in meetings and refer third party business and professional introductions to other members. The Business Club’s members are also expected to be helpful to other members and provide them with advice and the benefit of their experiences in business.
